Directed by Thomas Lahusen in collaboration with Steffen Pross, produced by Chubak Egemberdiev, our film was screened in the Freudental former synagogue on September 14, 2025. The event was reported in the regional press, including the Ludwigsburger Kreiszeitungan of 23.08.2025 with an article by Susanne Mathes, entitled "Rahel und ihre Geschwister: Leise Hommage an erloschenes jüdisches Leben" (Rahel and her siblings: A quiet homage to extinguished Jewish life).

A film about the history and present situation of Russians, Ukrainians and other Slavic settlers and migrants in Central Asia and Kyrgyzstan through the story of Aka, a Russian orphan who became part of the director’s family.
